The best way to succeed is to do the Smokin' Notes packets and practice exams as well as watching the professor's videos.

Use the smokinnotes for the exams as they make the workload much more manageable

This class wasn't too challenging but it did require a commitment to learning, I'd say I spent anywhere from 10-14 hours a week on this class which included going to class, doing the readings, and any additional assignments

I think that the lectures are helpful in fully understanding the material within the textbook.

Study as much as you can in advance. The exams cover a great deal of material and given the size of the exam, the department only chooses a select amount of topics to test.

Study the textbook. If you don't have time, use Smokin' Notes, which condenses the textbook into a digestible format. It's really helpful.
