1) Why should I become a member at SmokinNotes.com?

Smokin’Notes offers class notes, chapter summaries, practice exams, detailed solutions, video tutorials, flash cards, online practice exams, and lots of other study materials for many of the largest classes at UF. We’ve been helping students for 20 years, and more than 100,000 students have improved their grades with Smokin’Notes.
SmokinNotes.com members gain automatic access to study materials as they become available every week. Members can also choose to have the printed Smokin’Notes shipped to them 7 days before the exam.

2) When are the Smokin’Notes available?

We update the online course pages with fresh content every week, and subscribed members will automatically gain access to those materials as they are posted. The printed Smokin’Notes are available about a week before each exam.

3) How can I purchase the Smokin’Notes?

When you purchase a SmokinNotes.com membership, you will automatically gain access to the materials for your subscribed course(s) when they become available. If you’ve chosen the option that includes shipping, the printed notes will be shipped as soon as they are available—at least 7 days before each exam. There are also limited quantities available at retail locations in Gainesville.

4) Which membership should I buy?

The membership option that includes shipping of the printed Smokin’Notes study guides is the best option, and is strongly recommended for most students. This plan also includes access to the weekly online updates that are available until your shipment arrives about a week before the exam date.
The "online only" option is primarily only recommended for students that are overseas or otherwise not available to receive shipments. There is no printing available for either option so getting the package with the notes shipped is the best option. Both membership options include all of the class notes, readings summaries, practice exams, and flash cards (which are usually posted each weekend), as well as overall online practice exams that are available a week before each exam.

5) How long does shipping take?

We fulfill shipping orders Monday through Friday at noon (except official UF holidays). Shipments are typically sent via UPS Ground. Most UPS Ground shipments to Florida addresses arrive the next business day, but it could take up to 3 business days to receive the notes for students in other states.

6) Would it be quicker to purchase the notes at a retail location than to have them shipped?

We ship the notes at least one day before they’re available at retail locations. Students in or near Gainesville should receive the notes the next day, so they usually receive the notes the same day they’re available at retail locations.

7) The printed Smokin’Notes are available now, and I want to have them shipped to me. How do I do that?

Just purchase a SmokinNotes.com membership that includes shipping, and subscribe to the course(s) you’re in. Your notes will be shipped to you ASAP (starting about a week to nine days before each). The same-day cutoff for shipments is noon.

8) I want to be sure the Smokin’Notes are shipped to me as soon as possible. How do I do that?

Purchase a SmokinNotes.com membership that includes shipping. You’ll have automatic access to all of the notes as they’re posted online, and the printed Smokin’Notes will be shipped to you as soon as they are available (at least 7 days before each exam).

9) Will I have access to both the online notes and the printed notes if I choose the shipping option?

You’ll have access to all of the online materials until you’ve received your printed notes. After that, you’ll continue to have access to the online materials that were not included in your printed notes. (Access to the online versions of the printed notes will be suspended once you receive the printed notes.)

10) How do I access the online materials if I purchased the printed Smokin’Notes at a retail location? (I don’t have a membership.)

The printed Smokin’Notes include a unique unlock code that you can redeem to access the online materials here. (This is a one-time-use code, so be sure you choose the correct course and exam!)

11) The website is asking for a password to access something. Where can I find that?

This password can typically be found on the first or second pages of the printed Smokin’Notes.

12) Where do you ship the Smokin’Notes?

We can ship the Smokin’Notes anywhere in the U.S. We ship notes at 12 p.m. Monday through Friday (except official UF holidays). Most shipments to Florida arrive the next day. Shipments to other states in the Southeast typically take business 2 days, and shipments to other locations typically take business 3 days. (You’ll have access to all of the materials online while you wait for your notes to arrive.)

13) Do you ship the Smokin’Notes internationally?

Unfortunately, time and cost constraints prevent us from shipping the printed notes internationally. Online access to the Smokin’Notes is the only feasible option for international students.

14) How can I track my shipment?

The notes are shipped at least 7 days before each exam. When your order is shipped, you should receive an e-mail shipping confirmation that contains your tracking number. You should also be able to track your order directly on your SmokinNotes.com course page.

15) There was an issue with my shipment. Who should I contact?

16) Can I print the online materials?

No, the online materials cannot be printed. If you’d like a printed copy of the Smokin’Notes, be sure to purchase a membership plan that includes shipping of the printed notes.

17) I got the printed Smokin’Notes, and it says they were printed before the professor finished covering material for the exam. Where is the rest of the material?

When the printed Smokin’Notes don’t cover all of the material for the exam, we will post the rest of the material at SmokinNotes.com. (You may need to use the password located on the first and second pages of the printed Smokin’Notes to access this material.)

18) How do I change my SmokinNotes.com membership to another class after the semester has ended?

After final exams are over, your subscriptions will be marked as completed and you will have the opportunity to assign another class to your SmokinNotes.com membership.

19) How do I make changes to my membership before the semester has ended.

You can Change Your Plan or Cancel Your Plan at SmokinNotes.com. If you need to make any other changes, contact us and we’ll do our best to help you out.

20) I tried to register but never received an e-mail. What's up?

Be sure that you entered your e-mail address correctly, and check your junk and spam folders. If you can’t find it, e-mail us and we’ll send you a new e-mail.

21) Do you sell Smokin’Notes from past semesters?

No, we don’t offer archive notes. All of the materials posted and shipped this semester are current for this semester’s classes.
