What is JavaScript?

JavaScript is a scripting language which enables Web developers to design interactive Web sites. Most of today's Web site require JavaScript in order to function properly.
If JavaScript is disabled in your Web browser some Web pages will not function properly.

How to enable javascript for Microsoft Internet Explorer?

  1. For Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9, click on the Tools button located in the upper right part of the screen and select Internet Options
  2. Click on the Security tab and then click on the Custom Level button.
  3. Scroll down until you see main option Scripting and under that Active Scripting in the bottom half of the list. Set the option Active scripting to Enable. Then click on the OK button.
  4. Click Yes on Warning alert.
  5. Click OK. That's it! JavaScript is now enable for your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

How to enable javascript for Mozilla Firefox?

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, click on the Tools menu. Select Options.
  2. Click on the Content tab, check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  3. Click OK. That's it! JavaScript is now enable for your Mozilla Firefox browser.

How to enable javascript for Apple Safari?

  1. In Apple Safari, click on the Edit menu. Select Preferences....
  2. Click on the Security tab, check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  3. Click OK. That's it! JavaScript is now enable for your Apple Safari browser.

How to enable javascript for Google Chrome?

  1. In Google Chrome, click on the Tools menu. Select Options.
  2. Click on Under Hood Tab.
  3. Click on Content Setting.
  4. Go to JavaScript tab.
  5. Select "Allow all sites to run JavaScript" Radio box.
  6. Save the Changes made.
